Consensus from Fall Council

Fall council took place November 23-26, 2023 near Placerville, California.

 

Here are the consensus from the fall council:

  “We consent to have spring council start on Monday, June 10th. Directions to be released on the morning of Saturday, June 8th. Location to be determined by individuals scouting.” (11/25/2023 consensus by 10-seconds of silence)

“Fall council 2023 on the land in California formed an interim Magic Hat council of five people.”  (Consensus with three people standing aside) (11/25/2023  consensus by 10-seconds of silence.)

“Rainbow Family Fall Council encourages the prioritization of health and safety. We encourage individuals to prepare for and participate in fire watch, prevention, and safety.”  (11/26/2023 consensus by 10-seconds of silence)

“We consent to honor the wishes of the Winnemem Wintu, Modoc and Pit Rivers Tribes from 2015 to not gather on Mt. Shasta. Therefore, Fall Council in California asks that the Rainbow Family of Living Light Annual 4th of July gathering not take place on Mt. Shasta.” (11/26/2023 consensus by 10-seconds of silence with one person standing aside)

“In preparing for our annual prayer for peace, the fall council on the land in California, affirms our belief in the spiritual and sacred nature of the gathering.” (November 26th)

“Due to the challenges of the climate crises, it is unknown at this time in which consensed region spring council will occur.” (11/26/2023)

  2. I'd like to advocate Washington and affirm my response from vision counsel. Though a California gathering is overdue, personally feel logistically Washington makes more sense

  4. Please note California was selected at vision circle on the land — so the question now is how to do this with respect for all people and in harmony with the water and climate and living things.
